About Us
In 2025, the Basin Burnout raised more than $225,000 for our beneficiaries: Reel Thanx, Boot Campaign, Toys for Tots (Permian Basin), and the Midland VFW Post 4149.
The Basin Burnout aims to provide something for everyone: live entertainment and the best amateur BBQ in the Permian Basin. The event also offers numerous networking opportunities for sponsors and BBQ competition teams, all while supporting our nation’s heroes. Stay tuned for information on how to get involved in 2026!

The Permian Basin Association of Directional Drilling (PBADD) is a nonprofit organization created by oil and gas industry professionals for oil and gas industry professionals. The PBADD provides an avenue or platform for the exchange of industry specific knowledge and new ideas that aid in the advancement of the directional drilling industry. Bringing oil and gas operators and oilfield service providers together in a collaborative and professional manner to enhance all aspects of the drilling services industry in the Permian Basin of Texas.
